CD Ripper Freeware is a simple tool intended for Audio CD Ripping. This program will help you to copy audio CD tracks and keep them on your hard drive. Interface of the program is very user friendly. When you enter Audio CD the program automatically shows you all the tracks recorded on the disc. User can edit Album Name and Release Year information or get artist name, track titles and other details of the album online.
User need to specify output folder and filename format for the extracted files. The application supports only two output formats; those are MP3 and WAV. If you select MP3 format you should also choose bit rate of the tracks. The program suggests 7 modes from 32Kb/s up to 320 Kb/s. Playback function is available but there is no any special player built-in in the program. Playback is available through the context menu. Unfortunately you can not adjust playback’s volume and it is a little bit inconvenient. This is a freeware so you can download it and use without any limitations. All in all this software includes all basic tools which you need for CD ripping.
